Disconnection and Emotional Distance

Even when two people share a home or a life, it can still feel lonely. I help couples rebuild emotional connection—so instead of feeling like roommates or strangers, you begin to feel like partners again.

Communication Breakdowns

Conversations can quickly turn into conflicts, or worse—silence. Together, we slow things down, uncover what’s really being said beneath the surface, and practice ways of communicating that invite understanding instead of defensiveness.

Trust and Repair After Betrayal

When trust is broken—through infidelity, secrecy, or emotional withdrawal—it can shake the foundation of a relationship. I guide couples through the process of rebuilding safety, accountability, and a renewed sense of partnership.

Differences in Needs, Desire, and Values

No two people want or need exactly the same things. Therapy helps you navigate differences in love languages, intimacy, parenting, or lifestyle—so you can move from competing needs to shared understanding.

Conflict and Repeated Patterns

Do the same arguments keep coming up, no matter how hard you try to fix them? I help couples identify the deeper cycles driving those conflicts and create new ways of relating that bring more peace, closeness, and collaboration.

Healing from Past Hurts and Grief

Sometimes the pain in a relationship isn’t about what’s happening now—but what hasn’t yet healed from before. In therapy, we work through unresolved grief, anger, or disappointment so your connection can feel lighter, freer, and more alive again.

About Melanie

I work with individuals & couples who are ready to move beyond surface-level solutions & do the real work of change — the kind that restores connection & emotional freedom.

My approach is grounded in depth-oriented therapy and relationship science. I help clients uncover the unconscious patterns that drive conflict, distance, and self-protection — and replace them with clarity, compassion, and deeper connection.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 14 years practicing law and later owned a relationship coaching business, guiding clients through their toughest love life issues.

Most of the people I work with are high-functioning, successful on the outside — but struggling to find peace, fulfillment, or connection within their relationships. Together, we slow down, look beneath the patterns, and work on healing, repair & reconnection.

I hold a Juris Doctorate and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, and my mission is to help individuals and couples build relationships that feel secure, alive, and aligned.

If your relationship looks fine from the outside but feels disconnected or stuck on the inside, you’re not alone.

I work with couples who are tired of just getting by—tired of the distance, the miscommunication, the feeling that something’s missing. Frequent arguments, broken trust, or parenting stress can leave even strong couples feeling disconnected.

Therapy offers a space to rebuild trust, improve communication, and restore balance.

The first step is simple—schedule a short phone call to discuss what’s happening and how therapy can help your family move forward.
